Nestled in the midst of North and South Beach on Collins Avenue between 32nd and 36th, there is a district of art, community, culture, and some extremely inspiring (and expensive) visuals. Within that, there is a unique hotel that I now find myself in from time to time when I need a kick in the creative pants.

It was there, amongst lush flora, sublimely over-the-top gilded relics set against turquoise water, and that something you feel in an evening Miami breeze, that I thought of you.
