Connecticut Fleece Jacket
Lady in Connecticut.
She was glad to see the doberman go, along with her second husband.
(It had reached the point where she couldn’t use the word “cookie” in a sentence even if she spelled it out letter by letter.)
She’s happier with the retriever. They spend hours in the fields, stopping now and then for one of the sandwiches she brings along. She takes a small bite, he takes a small bite. And he always lets her have the last bite.
Connecticut Fleece Jacket (No. 6803). Implies the existence, off in the background, of a 200-year-old Federal that could be in the National Register of Historic Places, but never bothered to apply. Textured plaid fleece and a boxy cut makes this jacket ideal for layering over a light sweater to keep the morning chill at bay. The wool comes from a respected mill in Cuomo, and is brushed for extra softness. Slightly dropped shoulder, two flap chest pockets, two lower-side welt pocket. Shank buttons on sleeve and cuff. Vintage-style flat-felled seams. Unlined. Gunmetal shank buttons. 100% Italian wool.
Doesn’t push. Doesn’t strive. Doesn’t have to. Imported.
