Sweater Shift Dress
How to Spend Your Money.
You start by wearing this dress, which, even in both colors, barely puts a dent in your daily budget but allows you to move from one day to the next on your tour of Europe. You bring belts. A hat. Some jeans. Packing light never felt so right.
Now, the good stuff…
Coffee at Holybelly in the tenth arrondissement. Croissants at Du Pain et Des Idées.
Browse the Vivian Maier collection at Les Douches.
Take the Eurostar to London (under 2 1/2 hours, very doable).
Take in the sights on Portobello Road. Then on to Harrods in Knightsbridge. Dinner at The Good Earth (the mood for Chinese hit you). To the pied-à-terre. Sleep (not in the dress, although you feel as if you could).
Tomorrow, more of the same, but you’ll try the heathered taupe with jeans.
