Nina actually gives you bad news on occasion (this is what made Jean Dixon a phenomenon). However, there’s a comforting wisdom to the way Nina dishes it out. I guess it’s best to know the seeds that have been sowed in order to manage the crops.
You can see her at the drum circle on Tinker Street dancing hypnotically. Later, someone is crying and thanking her for changing their lives after a ten-minute conversation at the Garden Cafe.
I don’t know if I believe. Signs. Stars. The invisible string of it all. But then again, it’s hard to deny Nina’s talent. I would say that she thinks I see her for the prognosticating, when in fact I go for her choice in tunics, which she stitches together from various bits and bobs of fabrics she’s collected over the years.
But I guess she probably knows all that.
Nina’s Tunic (No. 5956). Three soul-loving prints of dragonflies, stripes, and paisley ikat magically combined in a drapey, very relaxed, rayon fabric. Banded neckline with crossover front. Front and back yoke. Three-quarter-length bell sleeves. Made in India.
