She found the poncho in a small shop tucked along the road to Muckross House, the kind of place where where the shelves bow slightly under mounds of folded tweed.
The drape is effortless, almost conspiratorial, and moves with that confident, old-world ease found only in garments designed for weather rather than fashion. (But somehow manage to look devastatingly chic nonetheless.) No wonder these things have been around for 3,000 years.
