On the Rue du Porche in Rochefort-en-Terre. Colombage buildings (half stone, half timber) centuries older than anything we have back home.
Flowers in nearly every window box. (I’m told the village is known for this.)
The air, a conspiracy of scents. The boulangerie, cafés. Spring. Masses of daisies and peonies wrapped in brown paper.
Her, in this dress, stepping out from an ancient door, arms full of baguette and bouquets.
I nearly trip over my own feet, blame it on the cobblestones.

Full, pleated skirt falls below knee. Sweetheart neckline at front, scoop neckline at back. Front and back princess seams and bust darts. Cap sleeves. Three covered shank buttons at front bodice. Pretty but runs a bit big

Nicely made and quality material. The neckline is feminine and flattering. The underarms are slightly baggy, but I have a generous decolletage. So not noticeable.
