The Connecticut Shirt
These shirts caught my eye at an estate sale on Grahampton Lane in Greenwich.
I’m on the lookout for anything interesting, not expecting to be drawn in by shirting.
The stripes are respectable and well-pedigreed, as you’d expect, but they feel fresh. The collar, substantial, structured with real confidence.
Another gentleman reaches toward the stack a quarter-second after I’ve whisked them away.
Don't they say timing is everything?
