Dauntless Shearling Jacket
Product Details
Fly Girls.
From clerking and tailoring in WWI to towing arial targets for antiaircraft guns and flying every type of bomber known to human, female pilots took quite a leap from WWI to WWII.
Still, much of the duties and training of the WASP (Women’s Airforce Service Pilots) remained classified. The missions were logistical and for training purposes. All stateside. Some perished during their service, including Cornelia Fort, who, as a civilian pilot, was the first person to spot the Japanese attack on Pearl Harbor, narrowly escaping with her life.
We were inspired.
Dauntless Shearling Jacket (No. G1052). Inspired by the fly girls of WWII. This shearling jacket proves its mettle with unsurpassed warmth and more than a hint of attitude. Exceptionally tailored. Lusciously sueded to a velvety nap and trimmed with a smooth contrast leather at the front zip and hand pockets. Natural wool fleece creates a cocoon of plush coziness. Made in Italy.
