The Closest I Get to Logos Are Tweeds.

Yes, I know, we’ve put logos on pieces before. An ugly experiment. Never say never, but for now, I remain firmly in defiance (which surprises no one).

The lovely thing about tweeds is they tell you exactly what they are by the pattern, color, or place of origin—Harris, Donegal, Estate, Cheviot, et. al.

Perhaps the most widely recognized by appearance is the Donegal—that quintessential “plain weave” with flecks of color woven in is so universally recognized, it has transcended even its place of origin (they aren’t just from Donegal anymore).

Here’s a perfectly handsome and exceptionally crafted Donegal jacket with plenty of authentic military styling. We sourced the fabric from the Moon Mill, one of England’s last “vertical” mills, meaning they complete all processes (carding, warping, scouring, etc.) on one site.

We think the results speak for themselves.
