Inside Keith Fawkes bookshop on Flask Walk. We explore the stacks (and stacks), each on a separate mission. She’s on the hunt for books on architecture. I land on a volume of John Keats (with her collection in mind), who lived a half mile away from this spot from 1818 until he left for Rome in 1820.
We emerge with the ones we couldn't leave behind. She, with books on antiques and architecture, plus a small framed print of a Cotswolds farm. And I, with two Harrison early editions and the Keats.
Our shopping urges sated, we settle into a booth at The Flask. Sunday roast, pints of Young's. Pore over our books while we wait.

Floral Cigarette Pant (No. J7419). Cotton twill print with a bit of spandex for shaping and comfort. Invisible zipper at wearer's left side seam, with hook and eye closure. Unlined. Simply perfect with a turtleneck. Extra fine with a wrap blouse and pearls. Very smart and a bit edgy with a black leather jacket. Imported.
