It Girl Ostrich Feather Boa

Charles Dana Gibson's pen and ink drawings created the Gibson Girl. She was high society and never crass; a lady her mother and grandmother could be proud of. She wore ostrich feather boas and everyone loved her. The next it girl was the twenties flapper. She smoked and drank. Her hair was bobbed. She listened to jazz and danced like there was no tomorrow. She wore ostrich feather boas to underground speakeasies and everyone loved her.
