A little over 90 years ago, the world wasintroduced to the Little Black Dress, a version that was calf-length and slim, in crepe de chine, with long sleeves.
There's a reason all of that still works almost a hundred years later. Consider the long, lean lines of this one.
The Winter Waltz Dress (No. 5812). Fitted black sheath in 100% silk crepe de chine. Has all the classic attributes of the first, but we've added sophisticated black lace for the sleeves. The lace is woven through with shimmering metallic threads.
All eyes on you.
We added a slit at the left front to make it easy to offer a flirty glimpse of your knee.

Dramatic lace insets at the neckline and waist are lined with nude organzato give the slightest illusion of a peek. Body lined in taffeta. Invisible zipper at center back. Does a man ever know for sure if a woman truly needs help with a zipper, or are we just glad to be asked? Imported.
