Madison Avenue Peplum Jacket
Escape on Madison Avenue.
The other side of the aisle. Matinee showing of Cinema Paradiso. She’s smartly dressed like no one dresses for the picture shows anymore.
Exceptionally tailored. No thread left to chance.
The bold print is where speculation accelerates. Not circles, not squares. The pattern seems purely declarative. Entirely wild. Only barely restrained.
I decide she’s a creative director at an ad agency nearby and she ducked out of the office for a couple of hours under the guise of “creative research.”
Which puts us both on the same mission on a Wednesday afternoon.
