Marie Antoinette Nightshirt

Nice but I prefer my blue floral

…except Chanel No. 5, and sometimes my pearls.
Seriously. I have literally worn two out. I was so sad to retire them, what memories we share - the sailing yacht in St. Kitts, hiking around Devils Tower, a quaint NH inn, nights in Paris, and lovely moments together at home over coffee with our Briard dogs curled near us. No, nothing else.
And they have also survived hushing crying grandbabies (up to 5 now!) potty training puppies, cleaning up after sick babies & puppies, two back surgeries, and just about anything else you can imagine a husband, three children, five grandchildren and a multitude of dogs and cats have put me through! Plus hot flashes. I forgot to mention those! It was the most comfortable thing I wore as it is pure cotton and it breathes!
This nightshirt wears like iron, washes up so easily, and is SO comfortable! Back in the day I used to iron mine, but now I just hang them up when they come out of the washer and they are perfect!
My husband still loves seeing me in them now just as much as he did the first time! This gown is pure magic!

Lovely cotton gown

I love the Marie Antoinette nightshirts. This is my fifth one over the years. I was so glad to find this one on sale; I remember when the full price was less than this! But as I prefer this above everything else to wear while sleeping (if I must wear anything… ) I will continue to purchase these nightshirts. The fabric is the most glorious cotton. It launders beautifully and feels so good against my skin.
Please Peterman, never stop making these wonderful nightshirts or change this fabric! Merci beaucoup!
