The Links Cardigan.
The days of knickerbockers and ivy caps on the golf course have, sadly, gone. I was all but convinced that fashion had left the game completely.
But then, Anaconda, Montana. Early September. The Old Works Golf Course (built on and around the remnants of a copper smelting plant that was in use for over a hundred years). As a a single, I was paired with only one other player.
Normally, I’m not overly excited about hitting the links with strangers.
But then I saw his cardigan.
Shaggy Mohair Cardigan (No. J7855). Artfully made from long-staple shaggy mohair (from a specific breed of shaggy goats that yield this soft, luxurious fiber). Pearlescent dome shank buttons at center placket. Ribbing at cuffs and hem. Imported.
