My friend Edward asked me to bolster our offerings for engagements past 8:00 p.m.
A good tuxedo shirt, to start.
He ticked off a few requests and I scribbled them into my notebook.
French cuffs, naturally, to accommodate cuff links.
Convertible buttonholes at center placket to allow for a stud set when desired but with attached buttons for those days when a gentleman doesn’t want the fuss.
Should be a bit longer than expected for easy tuck-in.
Said I should give it a distinctive style element, so I developed this textured bib front.
All the other elegant finishing details you’d expect.
A fine shirt for the man who never tires of keeping standards, who holds the line against sartorial nonchalance.
The RSVP Classic Tuxedo Shirt (No. J8044). As described, woven from high-yarn-count, plain-weave 100% cotton. Narrow-rim mother-of-pearl buttons at center front and cuffs. Convertible buttonholes allow for use of the attached buttons but also have small secondary buttonholes to accommodate a cuff link instead. Ruched sleeve volume at the cuffs. Imported.
